Appointments
We operate an appointment system which can be booked by telephone
or in person.
GP appointments are available every morning between 09.00—11.30.
Urgent cases are seen from noon until lunchtime. Afternoon
appointments are available between 14.00—17.00.
Reception staff will try to fulfil requests for appointments
with a specific GP but if they are not personally available,
eg during periods of leave or sickness, patients may be offered
an appointment with another GP Partner or with one of our
approved Locum GPs.
If you are unable to attend, you are expected to cancel as
soon as possible to allow us to accommodate other patients.
Improved Access
In line with Government policy, we are aiming to improve
accessibility by enabling patients who so request, to have
contact with a GP or Nurse within 1-2 working days, dependent on their clinical needs.
Urgent Appointments
Urgent appointments will be given on the same day. Reception
staff need some details to assess the severity of the situation
which is then discussed with the GP on call.
Children, in particular, when unwell and require an urgent
appointment, will be seen as soon as possible.
