New Surgery Plans

Starting on Monday 1 June 2009, we have re-arranged the GP surgery sessions for our Doctors.

This is to enable our patients to make an appointment to see a Doctor more quickly and easily when they are feeling unwell.

According to antibiotic prescribing policy, patients requesting antibiotics should be seen by a clinician and you will be asked to attend the surgery for this assessment.

Patients will also have more opportunity to make an appointment, booked in advance, to see a Doctor of their choice.

To provide this increased accessibility, Doctors will no longer be able to return telephone calls but they will be available to take calls from patients at 12 noon each day. Calls should be restricted to matters of serious illness or other important issues. Abuse of this system will result in it being withdrawn.
