There are a number of Allied Health Practitioners who work closely with Holywood Road Surgery.

Our reception team may point you in the direction of them.  This is not because the GP does not want to see you, but that the other person can provide more specialist care.

It is usual practice for anyone you see (outside of Holywood Road Surgery) will update us on any treatment they have provided for our patients.

Phamacists - check out the Pharmacy First scheme.  Pharmacist can prescribe for sore throats, uncomplicated UTIs, mouth ulcers, verucca, vaginal thrush and a range of other conditions. 

Optometrists (Opticians) - NIPEARS - red eye scheme.  Sudden onset eye problems

Dentists - anything to do with mouths (not just teeth)
